TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® Reliability

TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® Reliability +

TOPJOB® S Rail-Mounted Terminal Blocks: from 2.5 mm to 35 mm

TOPJOB® Rail-Mounted Terminal Blocks with CAGE CLAMP® connection technology are ideal for conventional applications:

  • N-busbar for all terminal blocks on same level
  • Screwless N-disconnect slide link
  • Grounding foot with automatic connection to the carrier rail
  • Wide range of jumper systems for various circuit requirements
  • Multilevel installation terminal blocks with N-disconnection within the terminal block, if, for security reasons,♠ small circuit groups are required (e.g., bathrooms, swimming pools, medically used areas)

+ What function must the terminal block have?

What function must the terminal block have?

In addition to single-deck terminal blocks with a large cross-section range of 0.14 mm2 to 25 mm2 (24–4 AWG), double- and triple-deck terminal blocks, as well as function blocks are also available for any type of application. These include: fuse, disconnect, test, electric motor wiring, diode and LED terminal blocks, as well as pluggable terminal blocks.

+ What is the current capacity for the terminal block?

What is the current capacity for the terminal block?

All single-deck TOPJOB® S Rail-Mounted Terminal Blocks connect unprepared, solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors one size over their rated cross-section and can be loaded with the nominal current of these conductors. This saves up to 25 % more space and money for wiring compared to other terminal blocks.

+ How are the conductors connected?

How are the conductors connected?

In addition to push-in connection, all conductor types can be connected using an operating tool. The tool remains in the operating slot — the clamping unit is marked and kept open for hands-free wiring. The conductor entry is at a 15 degree angle relative to the operating tool for easier wiring.

+ How do I make commoning as fast and flexible as possible?

How do I make commoning as fast and flexible as possible?

Vorschau-Bild

The flexibility of WAGO’s line of jumpers is demonstrated by the continuous jumper. A single jumper allows you to readily common a seemingly endless number of terminal blocks with just one jumper slot. This provides flexibility and you have always the right number of poles in hand.

+ What conductor types will be connected?

Push-in CAGE CLAMP® is the universal connection technology for all conductor types. Terminate rigid conductors, such as solid, stranded and ferruled, fine-stranded conductors, by simply pushing them in — no operating tool needed. Conductors can be prepared, however ferrules are not required for a reliable connection.

+ How easy is it to mark a terminal block?

How easy is it to mark a terminal block?

Continuous marking strips allow rail-mounted terminal blocks to be labeled quickly — reducing marking time up to 75 %. Multi-line marking simplifies terminal block identification by basing it on function. This clarity minimizes the potential for wiring errors in control cabinets.

+ What application will the terminal block be used for?

What application will the terminal block be used for?

Whether it’s tunnel boring machines, ships or trains — TOPJOB® S Rail-Mounted Terminal Blocks pass shock tests up to 500g and vibration tests up to 20g. The financial advantage: A single item number for through terminal blocks covers standard and Ex applications. This reduces both storage and overall project costs.

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL IN ONE — For All Conductor Types

CAGE CLAMP® and Push-in CAGE CLAMP® are universal connection technologies for solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors that have proven themselves billions of times worldwide. Push-in CAGE CLAMP® also offers the possibility of connecting solid and stranded conductors, as well as fine-stranded conductors with gas-tight, crimped ferrules by simply pushing them in — no need for tools.
