PFC200 Controller for XTR allows you to plan, control, and visualize where other controllers give up!
The new PFC200 is a particularly promising new product: the Controller of the Year 2015* is also now available in many versions for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR. Its CODESYS V3-based runtime environment and realtime-capable Linux® operating system make the PFC200 controller the efficient control system for your automation tasks — which include locations that demand more from an automation system than is considered standard. There are also two runtime systems on board the PFC200: This provides you with the option of planning your projects using the e!COCKPIT design software in a CODESYS 3 environment as well as with WAGO-I/O-PRO in the CODESYS 2 environment.
Telecontrol Protocols — Solutions for Supply Networks
The PFC200 variants can also be employed as telecontrollers using CODESYS 2. They support the DNP3 communication standard in addition to the IEC 60870-5-101, -103, and -104, IEC 61850, IEC 61400-25 standards. Even the interfaces are persuasive: The controller is available in two versions with different numbers of communication interfaces: either two ETHERNET connections and an RS-232/RS-485 interface or with two ETHERNET connections, RS-232/RS-485, CAN, CANopen, and PROFIBUS-DP-Slave interfaces.
3-Phase Power Measurement Modules and other I/O modules for practically unlimited applications!
3-Phase Power Measurement Modules are new to the XTR product portfolio: In addition to energy consumption measurement, they offer harmonic analysis and neutral conductor measurement for comprehensive grid analysis. The 3-Phase Power Measurement Modules are available for the 750 XTR Series in three versions: for measuring using current transducers at a maximum measuring current of 1 A or 5 A, as well as for measuring with Rogowski coils. All relevant measured values (e.g., reactive/apparent/effective power, energy consumption, power factor, phase angle, frequency, over-/undervoltage) are transmitted directly into the process image, without requiring high computing power from the controller. With this information and a harmonics analysis up to the 41st harmonic, the 3-phase power measurement module can provide comprehensive network analysis. Despite their compact design, voltages up to 690 VAC can be directly connected, as required for wind generators.
In addition, WAGO has added several other components to the XTR portfolio: two 2-channel digital input modules for 60 V and 110 V, an 8-channel digital input module with 2-wire connection technology (filter time 0.2 ms), a 2-channel analog input module for 4–20 mA according to NAMUR recommendation NE43, and a separation module for visual demarcation of segments with different voltage ranges within an I/O system.
